New BFA majors at BOCO

I posted this in theater major as well- since it seems more "straight" than "MT"- but still interesting

Two brand new majors (will start next year) - BFA in Contemporary Theatre and BFA in Multidisciplinary Stage Management

If CC takes out the link you can just go to the school website - bostonconservatory.edu and the announcement is a link right on the homepage

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. The BFA in Contemporary Theatre reminds me a bit of one of NYU/Tisch’s studios, the Experimental Theater Wing. My daughter studied in that studio for her final three semesters and it sounds like BOCO’s program will also offer something similar to the independent projects in senior year (at BOCO called capstone projects).

I agree- sounded like a combo between ETW and Playwright’s Horizon (from what I understand of those studios)

So excited for this! I hope D decides to slip it into her mix. This is exactly the type of program she is looking for.
