New box on the USC Connect?

Did everyone get the 'Withdraw My Application' box?

I'm a transfer student and I just got it but I was wondering if any freshmen had it. And if so, did your application status change to 'under review' when it popped up?

I’m an accepted freshman and I also have it.

@lanawinters did you recently receive it or have you always had it (since your application began being reviewed)

I recently received it. Yesterday I think.

I applied to a program under Dornsife, but received a rejection from Dornsife today, should I wait for a letter from the program as well? Also, is there a possibility of being accepted as an undecided? Also, I have the ‘withdraw’ box as well, but when I tried to check my application status, there was no notification of my admission or rejection, just an area to send in my mid-year report.

@THEFUTURETROJAN - Did you receive a rejection letter? I am a bit unclear because you mention that there was no notification of rejection AND you say you received a rejection. If you did receive a letter of rejection, unfortunately a rejection letter indicates that you were not admitted to USC. I am very sorry.

@alamemom I received a rejection from Dornsife, but will I also receive one from USC in general? I also have the new box on my usconnect, and was feeling optimistic.

@alamemom I also went to my application status check, and it doesn’t show my admissions decision but I have a letter.

:( I am very sorry - a rejection from Dornsife means you have not been accepted by USC.

@alamemom so the box doesn’t mean anything?

I have no specific information about the “withdraw my application” box except that it was discussed on pages 37-38 of this thread <a href=“USConnect question/speculation? - #541 by notmadeofmoney - University of Southern California - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/1628687-usconnect-question-speculation-p37.html</a> and all applicants reported seeing it. Some of those who had it were rejected, some were accepted - sorry.
