<p>forgive my ignorance, what is bspace used for?</p>
<p>It's the place some courses use (more and more teachers are starting to use it) as basically a class website. All the class materials will be posted there.. the syllabus, electronic handouts, and any other resources. The teacher will usually use BSpace to make announcements as well.</p>

<p>Speaking of which, does anyone know how to remove the tab from an old class? ie. one taken in Fall of 06 that still shows up in my bSpace tabs along the top?</p>
<p>To Get Rid of Old Class Tabs</p>
<ol>
<li>Login to bSpace</li>
<li>Click on Preferences on the Left</li>
<li>Click on Customize Tabs</li>
<li>Move Old Class Sites to "Sites not visible on Tabs"</li>
<li>Click "Update Preferences"</li>
