I read somewhere on the Broad website that they are adding a new business complex to the Broad College. It sounded like an official plan but i’m not sure if they have started working on it. Does anyone know about this?
They are adding a new section to the already existing Eppley Center, home of the Broad College of Business. However, i think that the focus is only on MBA.
oh ok i read this one on the website. @thnzus http://broad.msu.edu/college-pavilion/
It also says addition #2 so there might be the addition #1.
Oh wow I did not see this, very interesting
Doesn’t look like the project will be starting any time soon though @indianguy1
I just graduated from Broad this past May. Word on the street is that they don’t have nearly enough money to go through with the project for now. Seems they were expecting a lot more in donations from alumni. I think Eli Broad said he would match donations up to a certain amount but there haven’t been enough donations. This is unfortunate because the BCC is really not great.
Ah that sucks, because an upgrade is really needed. As a class of 2019 I wish that it would go through and finish before i finish but i don’t think thats going to be likely.
Yeah it sucks, I looked at the business buildings they had already and they weren’t bad but they weren’t great at the same time.
@TheSpartan did you get many job offers before graduation? I heard MSU SCM is quite good and I might go into that.
I had several. Most people get at least 1 but it’s still competitive to get offers from top companies because the program is so large (I think it should be about half the size it is currently). You should try to get an internship or co-op as a sophomore, junior at the latest.
