Hi, I'm a senior applying mostly to safety schools, but these are my four schools that might be a reach. I would gladly appreciate any feedback about my chances for applying regular decision at these following schools:

Connecticut College (first choice college)
Trinity College
Boston College
Boston University

I'm a middle class white suburban girl who attends Catholic High School on Long Island, NY. However I need a lot of financial aid/loans to attend college. My EFC is less than $5,000.

GPA:
I don't know how to convert my high school average into a GPA, can somebody please help me?

I have a 97.24% weighted average. My school does not rank us officially but I am in the top 10%, and I am guessing that I am somewhere around 40 out of 600.

I've always had a consistent report card of a 95% average or higher.

AP:

I've taken two AP courses, US History (5) and Literature (taking test in May), and seven honors classes since freshman year.

This year I am not taking a science or a second language, which I understand can hurt me, but otherwise I am taking solid courses like Precalculus, Western Civilization (college credit course but not official AP), Economics, AP Literature, etc.

SAT:
Critical Reading: 750
Math: 550
Writing: 690
Essay: 12

total: 1990 new, 1300 old

SAT II:
US History: 780
Literature: 770

Extracirricular:

My extracirricular stuff and community service is average but not spectacular. I've participated in numerous clubs in school but never rose to a position of leadership or anything special.

Most of the clubs I joined involved community service like food drives, visiting the elderly, etc. I have also tutored.

My main "hobby" is art, I attended an art school for two years outside of high school to make a portfolio, I webdesign, contribute to my school's magazine, etc.

Etc:

I personally think my essay was done well, and I think my teacher recommendations are very positive. I don't know if that matters.

I really want to go to Connecticut College, so I would especially appreciate any feedback about my chances of acceptance there. Thank you very much.
