So, I know I’m under qualified but I’ve done a lot of Extracurriculars(or a lot of theatre). If you don’t think I have a great chance, what can I actually do to make it better. What SAT score do you think would truly boost my chances? Also how can I show my interests in this school and discreetly tell them their my top choice?

So, your GPA isn’t great, but maybe they’ll look at your weighted since it is 1 point higher which is a lot! Good job mate. Now if your goal is to do theatre arts at New College you should have a better chance especially if you bring up your SAT which I believe for you is a necessity.

I won’t lie to you, you’re chances aren’t spectacular, but you seem like a smart and talented lad so if you bring up your SAT you should have a betting chance.

I’m majoring for their computer science. Let’s say I got a 2000, how would I fair then?

Still a reach considering your unweighted is below what they would like. It is still worth a shot though. I wouldn’t say you’re totally out of the running. Just study hard for the SAT.

Is there anything else I could do besides SAT to benefit my chances—do you thinking visiting would help?

Visiting a college could help, but not enough to offset lower than expected gpa and test scores. Good essays are important. Some glowing recommendations if they feel like that’s important.
