NEW DEADLINE. NOV 7th

New deadline for the 7th. i submitted the app but can i submit the supplement in a couple of days?

Yes, you can.

is it for everyone or just east coast??

I mean, if you weren’t affected by the snowstorm, you really should have everything in.

I submitted app but the supplement is still pending, my essays are ok but I can make them better if I had a few more days thats why I ask =</p>

I guess that’s up to you. Don’t let yourself overthink your essays, but if you think having a little more feedback will help, go for it.
BUT
Ask an admissions counselor. I don’t think they’d mind if you submitted your app later, since they are accepting them late. Don’t quote me on that.

The Nov. 7th deadline is reserved for those affected by the storm.

The supplemental materials include arts materials and supplemental recommendations.

HI Grace

Thanks for responding, I already submitted CA Application but not the CA supplement. Is the supplement under "supplemental materials?

ohhh. that’s rather disappointing. i had hoped it applied to all applicants. can i change my app then? i already submitted it as EA to UChicago but I was planning on submitting the supplement later.

The Common App supplement is not considered “supplemental material”. We will need Early Action supplements to be submitted by our deadline, 11:59pm tonight.

ok thanks for the response Ill get it done

Hi UChicago,

Will the November 7th deadline delay decisions in December? I’m predicting it to be sometime around Friday the 16th since in past years it’s always been around that time.

Are you going to start/did you start reading applications tomorrow/today?

Hi UChicago, I already submitted my application (a few months ago), I wanted to determine if I could change my decision from regular to early action.
Thank you

If we have been affected by the storm and wish to submit our applications by the November 7th deadline, can they be done online through the Common App, or only through mail? Thank you in advance.
