New Donation of $20 Million for SC Norris School of Medicine

<p>The estate of philanthropist, Henrietta Lee, announced the bequest of $20 million dollars to the SC Norris School of Medicine to support cancer research. Mrs. Lee had earlier donations to the school of $35 million.</p>

<p>The sum of Mrs. Lee's previous contributions was $25 million. Pardon the error.</p>

<p>Norris is extremely fortunate in terms of donations. I work right across the street and remember walking through the lobby a month or two ago and seeing a big novelty check for $60 million.</p>

<p>And just a nit-picking correction: the place is called Norris Cancer Hospital at Keck School of Medicine of USC.</p>
