Haven’t been able to tour the new dorm building yet. Does anyone know what the difference is between the A rooms and B rooms? My son is selecting his room now and there is a choice between A and B. I’m assuming it’s separate wings of the building but was wondering if anyone knew what sides A and B were and which side of campus they face. I called housing and they didn’t know.
No, I haven’t gotten an answer yet. We did receive an email from ASU letting us know that the new dorms are available for tours now. We won’t be able to visit again until late April,
so I am hoping someone who takes a tour can answer before then.
There is an event going on at the Tempe campus with tons of tours tomorrow. If your son has been admitted, have him go on Devil2Devil and ask if someone going tomorrow is able to check it out. Worst comes to worst, I can text my friend and see if he will go over there while he is at the event. However, he is in Sustainability, so he might not be able to get an answer.
Thank you. That is nice of you to offer to ask your friend but if he is not in engineering, I hate to ask him to run over there just to check out the dorms for us. Devil2Devil is a great idea. I will see if my son wants to post on there to get an answer. It’s not really that big of a deal, we were just curious. Based on the pictures, it looks like one side of the building might face the football stadium and the other would face towards campus. Either way, I don’t think he can complain about brand new dorms!
@Sona2013 I’m talking about Palo Verde Main - the brand new engineering dorm that will be ready this Fall. Maybe it wasn’t available to tour when you were there?
