Hi all,
I graduated last year and am currently enrolled at Northeastern University's Honors Program. I never considered UF to much because of their lack of NMF scholarships, but this new program came out halfway through this fall semester that gave a full ride to all 2014 NMF graduates and future grads. If I apply as a transfer, I don't think that I would qualify since one of the stipulations was that you had to enroll in a participating college the fall after you graduate.

My questions is, do you think sending in an appeal letter to the school (given that I get accepted as a transfer and they deny me financial aid) would have chance of getting me the scholarship? Recently my dad was diagnosed with an incurable disease that will prevent him from working and make paying for my college a lot harder.

What is the best thing to do from here? I only want to transfer to UF if I can get the full ride still, or else the tiny difference in tuition isn't worth transferring.

Thanks in advance!
