5 answer being 5 difficulty, or 5 choices? Which tests have 4 answer choices anyway? (if that’s what it refers to)

I believe language tests have 4.

It’s always been that way; almost everything has 5 answer choices though. I believe Latin has 4, so I’m guessing many other languages have fewer than 5 answer choices.

It’s whatever penalty makes the expected value of guessing exactly 0 points

It’s always been like that. Basically, the guessing penalty is 1/(x-1) times the number wrong, with x being the number of answer choices. Language tests have 4 choices, with stuff like the listening portion of Chinese having only 3.

So are the T/F/CE questions on Chem considered 5-answer questions?

^I think so.
