<p>It's been my goal to attend West Point for about two years now. I'd love to attend. Here are my stats:
Class Rank: 5/98 (almost top 5%)
I attend a college prep private school that's not the absolute best, for it is well academically for its size.
35 superscored ACT (it's what they look at)
33 regular ACT
4.0 uw gpa
3 varsity letters-tennis
Tennis captain
Eagle Scout
5 additional Eagle Palms
Senior Patrol Leader in Troop
Junior Assistant Scoutmaster
Current Assistant Scoutmaster
Vice Chief of Finance- Order of the Arrow lodge-oversee 60,000 budget
5 AP classes-all that school offers
(West Point does not look at AP or SAT subject test scores for admission.)</p>
<p>Oh and I attended Boy’s State.</p>
<p>I just realized I forgot some things. I have also made All -West chorus all 6 years and I made all state chorus this year. I have also been in the band for 5 years and have been section leader for 3 years. In case it also needs to be mention, I attend the summer camp at West Point and I received a Letter of Encouragement from them authorizing an overnight visit, which only about 150 or so have been sent.</p>
<p>West Point is a reach for anyone.</p>
<p>You are a good candidate but like what the person said before West Point is a really hard school to get into. I think you have a decent chance, but with schools like these luck plays a pretty big factor too. Good luck with everything and chance me back!</p>
<p>Yea I agree with everybody above. You look like a really good candidate but so many people want to get into west point and it is such a hard school to get into that it really is a reach for anyone. Luck does play a big factor here.</p>
