New Honors for USC Viterbi Engineering Faculty

<p>Dr. Alex Dimakis
Received the National Science Foundation Career Award</p>

<p>Dr. Martin Eskijian
The American Society of Civil Engineers awarded the 2011 Charles Duke Lifeline Earthquake Engineering Award to Dr. Eskijian.</p>

<p>Dr. Leanna Golubchik
Received the 2011 Dversity Leadership Award</p>

<p>Dr. Noberto Grzywacz
Elected secretary of the Council of Chairs of Biomedical Engineering</p>

<p>Dr. Andrea Hodge
Awarded a three year Humboldt Foundation Research Fellowship. She will study in Germany.</p>

<p>Dr. Kai Hwang
Won the 2011 Founders' Award</p>

<p>Dr. Terence Langdon
Elected a Fellow of the Materials Research Society. He also received the NanoSPD Achievement Award at the 5th International Conference on Nanomaterials</p>

<p>Dr. Azad Madni
Received the top Pioneer Award from the International Council on Systems Engineering</p>

<p>Dr. Andreas Molish
Elected to the Austrian Academy of Sciences and named the co-recipient of IEEE's Fink Prize Paper Award. Also named winner of the James Garde Award.</p>

<p>Professor Donald Paul
Winner of the Society of Petroleum Engineer's 2011 International Management and Information Award.</p>

<p>Professor John Brooks Slaughter
Received an honorary doctorate from Howard University.</p>

<p>Dr. Milind Tambe
Won the David Rist Prize</p>

<p>Dr. Michael Waterman
Received an honorary doctorate from Tel Aviv University</p>

<p>Dr. Alan Willner
Received the 2011 IEEE Photonics Society's Engineering Achievement Award.</p>
