<p>It's been announced (well more like speculated by ThinkSecret) that Apple will be releasing updates to all of the IBook line very shortly.</p>

<p>naw it will probably be within the month, ugh i feel like i've been telling myself "updates soon" for like 3 months, this blows i just want at least 64 MB video ram and maybe better resolution on the 14" ibook, i wouldn't mind a base 512 mb ram either... Did you guys know that there aren't any more pixels on the 14" ibook than the 12? You don't really get any more screen space, everything is just larger.</p>
<p>thats fine with me, 1024x768 feels pretty good on a 14 inch LCD screen so I am not sure why you would actually want more (well actually I am sure, but if those are the things that matter to you, the ibook isnt your line). The problem with high pixel density is that many people cant get their OS to display things at a good size (and website pictures end up being too small compared to the fonts).</p>
