Hello. Just realized this forum had a community college forum to it. Awesome :-) I currently attend Passaic County Community College in NJ and I get my associates degree in International Business by the fall semester. That means I will be ready to transfer by Spring 2014. I am looking to go to school out of state, as most community college students transfer to state schools. I'm keeping all options opened, outside of NJ. I'd like to go to school on the West Coast, or attend a selection of Tier 1 schools in the Northeast. I currently have a 3.9 GPA, an honors society member, President and founder of the business club. My high school transcript is mediocre and SAT scores are so-so. Can someone give me some advice on what I should do? My counselors at school can really only help me if I were to transfer to a select number of local state schools, none of which I plan on applying to. Unfortunately, some schools require transfer applicants to submit their high school transcripts along with their current college's. Students from my school have transferred to IVY league schools in the past, so I'm not trying to sound wishy-washy here. Where should I apply to and what colleges do you think would be interested in me? Any advise or help from anyone is what I'm asking. Thank you!
