So whats up guys?

Yea, Science Leaguer here. Chem I this year. We just the took the qualifying tests on Friday to see who would compete the coming Thursday. So far I think I got only 1 wrong, but I guess I'll find out on Monday. Where are you from?

Northern Valley Regional High School (Demarest). I am going to take Biology I, and i just qualifyed for it. Do you know any site that has past year tests and stuffs? I only know the one with Manalapan High School one.

Did chem 1 last year
will do chem 2 this year :D

anyways, good luck to all of you taking the test!~

Earth Science for me

Come on! i know more kids are doing it!

we dont have it; however, i would be interested in it. is there anyway to get involved in it if your school doesnt offer it?

I wanted to do Earth Science, but my school didn't sign up for it. >:o

I'm doing Bio II. I took the qualifying test on Friday; I'll find out if I made it on Monday.

logisticswizard - it's a little bit late to get involved now. Go to http://www.enter.net/~njscil/ and check out the registration procedures. You'll need an advisor and other participants.

These are pretty old.

Woohoo I qualified! 50/80 on the practice test haha - second place! First place was 57/80, a senior who was a USABO semifinalist last year and got into Pton ED. Hm...

Who else is going this Thursday?

chem I here
piscataway township
piscataway high school

Bio I 63/80 - third place.

Its comming up...

What are the usual top scores at state for Bio I and Bio II? Do you guys put a lot of work into it?

I'll be studying from now until I sleep. Plus during bio, calc, lunch, gym, maybe apus, and on the bus tomorrow.

The top score ranges from 73-79 or so. I don't think I've seen an 80 yet, though it probably has occurred.

50min is too short tho... good luck with tomoro.

And how did you guys do today?

did well, chem 2, pretty hard test though. you? (btw, guys, don't discuss questions in case people are taking makeups)

51/80 hehe

We took all different tests. Bio I test changed alot, and it was very hard compared to the previous 10 year tests. I think the test maker changed it. 60/80.
