HI ....
i am currently a student from india . i got accepted in new jersy institute of technology with a partial tuition waiver of 2000$ per semester to the department of biomedical engineering MS for this fall. i also got thru university of texas -- arlington ,yet to receive I-20.
please help me out in choosing which has a better program regarding biomed , as i am pretty confused

I don't know about the particular programs, but I can tell you that UT Arlington has a very strong engineering program. They also have a lot of foreign students if that matters.

thanks for replying bandit_TX . we need funds to study without which it will be very expensive, something like teaching assistantship or research assistantship . and i heard that arlington does not have funds and many of the foreign students do not have funding . so that is what matters . anyways a lot for replying .

hi everyone ....
do let me know if u people know anything about research funding .

is there no one who can give me any info

I am currently living on campus at the Univ of North Texas and UT Arlington is about a 30-40 minute drive away. I personally would go to New Jersey...

^^^^ big mistake. New Jersey is worse than you can possibly imagine

Hi, I attended UT arlington last year, and from what I know the engineering school is pretty good. I think the majority of engineering grad students are foreign, most of them being from India....Is UTA well known there?

NJIT is in Newark which isn't exactly the nicest place :\ It is a decent school, and I wouldn't really go walk around after dark anywhere anyway...

hi
many of the indian kids pick up UTA as a safety school. its like there are so many indian students over there . easy to fit in .and no difficulty in getting admission . but the prob is with the funding . we people need some sort of funding , which without makes it damn expensive . and from what i heard it does not have funds .

anymore replies ????????????
