<p>My dad recently bought me a Sony Vaio nr series laptop really cheap because the battery does not last. I love the laptop though. Should I go ahead and get a new one or just buy a new battery? It's cheap on Amazon. </p>

<p>If you plan on leaving it plugged in more than you plan on keeping it off the plug, then there’s no reason to get a new battery/extended battery. Only get one if you know you’ll need the juice on the go.</p>
