Does anyone know the name of that new business/econ major at Brown next year?

Commerce, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship (COE)

Info on the new major can be found at:

^ more about COE

Thanks a lot... so what does everyone think, is it a good idea to concentrate in this or not? At first I was all for it because I thought it would be a great introduction to the business world. But that article does bring up some good points, like the fact that COE has a lot more requirements than other Brown concentrations and that it is a brand new program with an uncertain future.

yah at adoch, i went to a lecture about it (actually for "interdisiplinary studies" and I was there for cognitive neuro), and they were saying for all of these newer, developing, unconventonal majors, there might be less credibility on the part of grad schools and employers as opposed to a more tried and true major like straight up economics.

or u could be proud that your one of the few people thathave that degree in the world. so then your kinda rare. hehe
