New NJROTC Naval Science Instructor needs help!

Another question for those with more experience and knowledge!
My son's NJROTC teacher is new to the Naval Science Instructor role - he just retired from the service. As a honor unit or distinguished unit we know the instructor can provide a nomination but the instructor does not know how to go about doing that!!! On the USMA site they reference a form, but USNA doesn't mention anything - does any one know anything about this process? Would USNA admissions know?

Also, we found out that there are about 200+ nominations from NROTC/NJROTC each year and only 20 appointments so not a great take rate, but at least an opportunity to be considered!

i know exactly what you need to do. First call the admissions and there is an automated message thing where you press 1 for something and 2 for another, there is one about nominations, when you get ahold of the admissions lady just tell her that you are from whatever high school and they have a list which will tell them whether or not they sent out the nomination forms to your school, be sure to have the NSI or SNSI do this because the admissions people dont like it when cadets call about requesting more forms (prior experience witht that) they will usually send it out and it will be at your school within a week and then the NSI can fill it out and mail it back in.

thanks a million!!!
