New Parent Vent

D’s tweeter post today:

“But why does Julia’s Market sell condoms”

I’m going to ask her if they are Big Al’s Trunk Protectors :)

Awesome…good to know they are available on campus at a convenient location. But you don’t have to ask for them from behind the counter, do you?!

Julia’s Market probably sells them because it’s open til 2am.

[Welcome to CampusDish at The University of Alabama!](http://www.campusdish.com/en-US/CSS/Alabama/Locations/JuliasMarket.htm)

I noticed that some of it’s Meals2Go can be purchased with meal swipes.

Burke’s C Store (Burke Hall bldg) and Lakeside Market C store (Lakeside Dining bldg) are also open til 2am during school year. They may also sell them.

D’s complaints today:

Why are all of the for the Ferg Parking garage blocked!
FYI, that’s where we parked her car last week when we left so that it would not be in the way of move in per Parking’s advise.

There are way too many people on campus.

Lol!!! Must be all those parents hanging around all week.

But what if you are on the North End of campus (say Presidential) and find yourself in need of one or more (dream big) of Big Al’s Trunk Protectors? Julia’s Market in Tut would be quite the hike!

(I don’t even want to ponder the consequences… <shiver>)</shiver>

I guess the moral of the story is that for those moments, you plan ahead and go down south? <grin></grin>

FYI while ferg parking deckis blocked if you pull up and tell them you need to park there to go to the ferg, they will move the barrier and let you in.

They do sell them at Lakeside Market and they are not behind the counter.

Real men don’t bunt, wear clogs, or sort laundry. I have it on the highest authority. ;)
