<p>Ummm, not a saint, noooooo. But without doubt an effective leader who had a vision and pretty much implemented it. And so far it has pretty much worked, too. </p>
<p>Even if you are a nice person, I don't think you get sainthood for building a lot of glitzy buildings and raising your institution's USNWR ranking. Unless you are the President of Notre Dame . . . maybe then.</p>
