New Rankings

Since most of the people on this forum are striving for i-banking jobs, I thought it might be helpful if we could make a ranking list of the top 1-50 or 1-100 colleges for getting a coveted i-banking postion in NYC.

If a college has a business school (i.e. Penn or NYU) assume that the student will be in the b-school. If not, assume that he/she is majoring in economics or some other liberal arts majors. Privates, Publics and LAC can all be included on the list. So for example, the beginning might be 1. Harvard, 2. Wharton,...

Sry in advance if this causes any arguments. I was just curious to see what people would say.

There is no top 100 colleges for i-banking. There's barely a top 50. Banks don't have that many target schools. Stick with the top 25 for a good chance.

Yeah. I'd agree with redhare317 on this. Top I-banks usually have 30-40 target schools, while top consulting firms usually have 15-20 target schools.

Forgot where I saw this.
