New Rec Sports Plex at FSU

Looks real nice: <a href="http://fsu.campusrec.com/im/news/isocphotos.shtml%5B/url%5D">http://fsu.campusrec.com/im/news/isocphotos.shtml</a></p>

gee i dont recall seeing this on rec center on my tour last weekend. i am not big on sports but think it is great for students that are

I know its was not possible to locate this on campus but I have a feeling its going to be a huge waste of money. its a long drive/bus ride to get to the rez, while we still have the IM fields by the stadium.

Well, campus is expanding and the old IM fields will likely be built on shortly. One thing that is positive is that there's likely to be a good bike trail to the facility.
Here's an aerial view:

fsu-uf i see your screen name and i am wondering did you apply to both schools and choose fsu?i am applying to both. i think fsu is better for me because i may want to major in fashion. and it is prettier. oh maybe i should be putting this in a new thread since it isnt about the rec center

i saw this picture parent2noles posted. it doesnt look to far away. i assume the campus bus system runs there.i like to play tennis would i go over herre to play tennis or can i play in the stadium on campus that i walked by on my tour

There is intramural tennis as well:

the distance is far about 10 minute drive, at the moment no bus runs there, but the university does have activites days planned, usually on saturday's where they provide a sign up sheet and bus students there.
if you want to play tennis there are tennis courts right next to the leech center.
I understand the university didn't have a choice, since there isn't much land left but its going to take a while for the new sportsplex to gain popularity. due to its location.

I thought it said the grand opening of the new facilities is on September 14th. Maybe transportation will be provided after that?

Well good point, but when i mentioned no bus specifically going there i was talking about the current situation with the "reservation."
