new res halls?

ive heard that their are new res halls being bult, is this true? if so are their any in lakeshore or are they in the SE. will the new halls have any suits or private baths?

ive heard of lucky and i really want a suit or private bath but i prefer the lakeshore location

You are thinking of this: Lucky101 : The new alternative to the UW-Madison dorm : Madison, WI

ive heard of lucky, is that the only new one? i was hoping for one in lakeshore

There is a new Ogg and a new Smith. Both are public dorms. Lucky will be a new private housing development located virtually on campus. All are on the southeast part of campus. They want to build new dorms on the lakeshore but the state has not let them (stupid state) because the private dorms complained (bribery)

There is a master plan you can read on the UW Res Halls website with timelines for new construction and improvements. Eventually there will be lakeshore changes, they seem to have thought things out well, including the financing (remember, they are financially self sufficient). Too bad it couldn't have been done yesterday...

link? i looked but couldnt find one

UW website- housing- Division of Housing main page has a left sidebar "masterplan 2004-2020" icon you can click to download the information. Sorry I'm not good at links, too lazy to learn.

thanks. (10 char)
