New sat 75th percentile for Cornell arts and sciences

i was wondering whether my score ( 880m, 710r/w) on the new sat would be good enough for Cornell arts and sciences

Sure – but that’s only a slim part of what would get you accepted.

but, can you please tell what the numeric value is, I am unable to find it anywhere on the web.
thanks

880??

No one can tell you the 75th percentile for the new SAT as Cornell has not admitted a class of students who have taken the new SAT. By this time next year Cornell will publish the middle 50th % of the admitted but who knows if they will bother to break those scores out between new & old SAT since the class of 2017 will have scores from both exams. The HS Class of 2018 will consist of all new SAT scores.

I would say yes it will be good enough.

A admissions rep explained it this way to us.
They look at SAT/ACT/GPA and make 2 piles, maybe and no.
Then they read essays and recommendations for the maybe pile.
They do not rank by SAT, they just put you in our out of the running,
If you look at percentiles for 2016 SAT, 700 and up is putting you in the
top 10% of all students, and that is competitive enough to at least get them
to read more about you. You need to have other interesting things to say,
and things you did, but they will read your application most likely.
If you have amazing other accomplishments, or activities, you have a chance.
If not, raising your SAT wont assure you of getting in either.

bodangles I meant 800, it was a typographical error. sorry for that
