new SAT averages

recently i went to a meeting and princeton handed out a paper with projected average SAT scores and acceptance rates for each university. Last year the expected average was 2100 and a 24% acceptance rating. This year its a 2050 with a 23% acceptance rating. Do you guys know what this data means?

what do you mean?

One cannot depend on SATs for chances of acceptance. Princeton Review is only giving prospective students the approximate range of SATscores for admitted students.

That really means nothing, considering the other factors admission officers use.
