i noticed that on the new collegeboard SAT book that the first 2 (i think) tests were new and the rest were also in the old book. did anybody take the new ones yet? and did anybody find them to be a bit harder? especially test 1 the math section i thought were harder than what i expected!

& does anybody know if december tests are usually a bit easier or if they have good curves?

thank you to those who answer!

All tests are reasonably fair…Hard test=nice curve and vice versa.

The new tests in the new book are of comparable difficulty; maybe a little different conceptually at times, but scores would be roughly the same for most students.
As for timing the test, there’s no point worrying whether December will have a lenient curve or whatever. They will always be commensurate to the perceived difficulty of the paper, so just do your best and you’ll be rewarded as appropriate.

okay, thanks for your input guys
