New SAT Writing Component Scoring

So...5 days until test day and I still have questions about how the test is scored...I've got to stop proscratinating...

Anyway, I just realized that the new Writing component will have 49 multiple choice questions. Using that as the arbitrary starting point for computing a hypothetical raw score, then the essay will count as 24.5 points, for a total of 73.5 points, to be converted into a the scale from 200-800, correct? (Using the info that the essay will count as 1/3 the total of the score). I realize that I had chosen a completely arbitrary set of raw scores, so is there an official way of calculating this?

Also, Kaplan seems to claim that the writing component is broken into two sections, 25 min essay and 35 min multiple-choice. But others have claimed 3 sections -25-25-10. Which is correct?

Thanks for any responses.

Alright here's how the scoring works for the writing.

There are 49 mc questions:
-1 25 min section w/ 35 mc
-1 10 min section w/ 14 mc

You can earn a maximum of 49 raw points for this section.

The essay is worth 24 raw points. (It is out of 6 so it is your score times four).

So the max raw points you can get is 73. However, I believe 69 and above is an 800.

So technically, the essay counts less than 1/3 of the total score, hmm...
What about the subscores? How do those work?

The subscores are just a reference; you use the formula I brought up for the scoring.
