i posted here before to ask about my chances and a lot of people said that if my SAT scores were higher I would have a better chance. Before I had 1370(or 2010). Now I have a 1430 (or 2070). Just to refresh you guys: I have A+ weighted GPA (no less then A GPA). I have good clubs, social action vp, lot of temple/jewish involvement, girls state, etc. Will my new SAT score make any difference and will my SATs still be a big factor in stopping me from getting in?
Thanks,
E

you look good.

I know people with much smaller SAT's who got in. Breaking 1400 is nice but you had a good shot before, and have a good shot now.

you guys have made my day!!! Prior to this everyone was telling me that I had a VERY long shot of getting in bc of my SATs! I know it's still a reach, but I am so happy (that hopefully) it won't be my SATs that stop me from getting in to the schools I love!

Where are you from?

new jersey

Oh, god, Jersey? I'm so sorry.

If kids from my school can get rejected from Penn with a 2390, 2340 and a 2300...I don't know.

but weirder things have happened.

There are always outlighers.
