It's like a Schedulizer and a Rate my Professor merged into one. However, I think it's a little bit superior to both, as its a Schedulizer but it lets you bring up your classes next to your schedule so you can manually play around with schedules (opposed to having to go to "Add Classes" and click the little check boxes), and it's a Rate My Professor but you can search by classes so that you can specifically see alterations of the class, and also lets you compare various professors to see who you'd rather have for a class.

I actually just found this about an hour ago (friend from Cal told me about it; apparently it's pretty big over there), and yeah, just thought people on CC here could benefit from it.

i just checked out chequerd… I think its worse than schedulizer. I also dont get how this drag and drop works… Plus i added genetics and it didn’t even show up on my schedule display and the median grade shows 0 for one of my classes. Schedulizer actually displays the correct grade =

I prefer Schedulizer, simply because it helps if you have a lot of classes and very few possible schedules. You could be rearranging classes for hours with chequerd and not find a valid schedule, while schedulizer only displays valid ones.

It’s definitely not worse than schedulizer.

With schedulizer you can spend days tweaking settings like “give 30 minutes for lunch” and “most free time on friday” only to never find what you think would be best.

I think the Chequerd and Schedulizer sites are about the same. I love the dragging ability of Chequerd, but I feel like searching for classes to fit a certain time block is a lot better on Schedulizer.

chequerd allows you to enter in a course number to add it to your schedule, without sorting through departments.

the drag and drop, and show conflicts options makes it easier to fix problems.

on chequerd you can create a list of potential classes and check off which ones you want to appear on your schedule. you can go through many possible schedules with different courses without having to remove and add classes.
