Hey. I just received my letter of admission from Chapman for the Spring 2010 semester and I was wondering how many others are out there that will be new, just like me, and going into university for the first time, like me?

Thanks for any response, you guys. :)
Kind of nervous and just generally intimidated with all this first time-stuff.
:(

CONGRATS!
I’m not a spring transfer, but i’m hoping to get in for Fall '10.
What will you be studying? I’m a little nervous and intimidated too, but i’m sure Chapman will be some of the best years of your life

hey…did u apply for fall 2010 scott? cuz i did EA too and havent received anything i dont think. but i probably didnt send in some forms or sumthing but im pretty sure i got everything sent except for my extra college classes transcript but i dont think that’d matter. so if u did apply for fall, have u received anything? if u do, PM me or reply on here plz! thanx : ]

I’ll be a new Spring 2010 transfer too! I won’t know anybody there so I am nervous and excited as well. What are you planning on doing for housing? What’s your major?

Hey Scott and Babygurl. That’s so cool, I really hope to see you guys next year! I’ll let you know how it goes with me in the process and stuff and hopefully the transition will be less nerve-wracking for you guys, okay? Haha.

I’ve just sent you a PM realityendshere. :)

thanx u too. i might end up going to pepperdine or community college…i REALLY wanted to go to NYU, but i didn’t get in. i regret submitting the essay that i did. but its good that i found out that that essay isn’t as good as my other one. my hearts still set on nyu! lol oh well…im hoping to transfer. i wanted to move to new york too. what do u like about chapman? idk much about it…i just know a grl who got in, and that my scores are in the range

lol is there much night life (someone on the previous post said there isnt) but im jw ur opinions. whats there to do besides disneyland and go to the beach?

like in ny, theres broadway, clubs, concerts, etc. (i know that cuz ive been following those threads and visited the campus) ive only gone to claremont which was in the middle of the desert and there wasnt much around the campus, so whats good about chapman?

I don’t live there (close by…) but i’m in orange a LOT to play and hang with friends. It seems the best option for nearby fun is Disneyland. I have a pass so i’m down there quite often…and i’m assuming if I do end up attending Chapman, I will renew and continue going.
Clubs and Concerts wise, I think theres some stuff in Laguna? I think…
LA is only a short bus/train/car ride away…if your lucky you can get there in…say…I don’t know…thirty minutes

oh okay…im down for that… sounds good. id rather be at a theme park lol over clubs and stuff but i guess maybe id drink…i never drink here tho…mainly cuz the crowd sux but im not really that kinda person. i guess i could be. but disneyland and rides/having a chill time sounds better lol

Oh, I just remembered.
Theres a house of blues in downtown disney, like I said about ten mins from campus. They get some pretty big artists in there…

oh okay…well u make it sound so much better lol. i didnt think much of it before. its kool that ud want to go to disneyland so much lol i hope other ppl are like that too and not just into partying : ]

whered u transfer from? did u apply to other schools as a transfer…if so which ones?

i hope to transfer to NYU, but idk if i shud go to community or not : / i kinda dont want to do that just in case i dont get in again…i just submitted all my apps and it cost over 500 dollars probably…i cant bother to add it all up. id rather ignore it…and i havent counted how many i applied to but its over 10 : /
