let's give sunnynight his own forum called "sunnynight @ city college"

ROFL Citan, sunny does ask a lot of questions! Well that is a lot of classes and it seems that you might have more than 20 credits for some semesters!? One important thing you should be aware of is your current schedule will not get you into any of the UCs because they require an english 5 "critical thinking" class which I do not see listed. What are these other english classes that you have listed?

What's chem 40?
I think your plan is too tight. And what's your intended major?

btw, can you just ask all the questions in one thread??

shirleyxy! I haven't seen you here in ages! Where are you transferinf to this fall?

WillDO,
I've just finished all the finals on last Thurs, so I didn't appear in here.
I'm going to UCLA! I don't if it's a wrong choice. I feel so much pressure after I sumbitted SIR to UCLA, cuz I was on the B/C borderline for 2 classes. FINALLY, I BEGGED 2B's!! WHAT A RELIEF!

Congrats! shirley! A part of me still wishes that i picked to be a bruin instead of a bear!

Thx, WIllDO!
If I had the ability to be a bear, I would definiely go to UCB! I think you do the right thing!

Ucla Bruins Unite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i scored kinda low on the english part of the assesment test. Most of these english classes do not count for college credit. Want to retake the assessment test. how long do you have to wait to retake it anyway?
And really? I have to take english 5 too!? darn, i have to prep a lot for english to do good in the test to fit that in. Also, if i want to transfer in 2 years, i have to take this many classes according to IGETC! there is no other way! How long did it take you guys to transfer into a 4 year? Any suggestions? Should I plan it out to transfer in 3 years instead?

And yes, i do ask a lot of questions. Sorry... Its just, i really want to get into a good UC and dont want to end up having to stay longer because i missed a requirement (heard thats what happens to a lot of people...) And also, I'm like this, i like to plan everything out before i start anything. Sorry.

Oh and chem 40 is the prereq for getting into college chemistry

dont have a major yet... just got out of high school. Want to be a dermatologist or nutritionist though but didnt do so hot in high school chem

what are you interested in studying? Not what you want to do, but rather what subject interest you? If you plan on transferring to Berkeley you also need to take a government class.

You also don't need to take english 1b to transfer to a UC unless specifically stated by the major you intend on transfering as (this is why it's important to find outmajors that you're interested in).

oh yea, is english your first language as well?

'i made up a two year plan'.... thats when i stopped reading. 2,3,4,5 year plans are for communists. the market is a beast. let it do as it pleases.

sunnyknight, go to a counselor.

seriously...plan it yourself...do you want CC to plan it for you? all you need is to decide on a major...go to www.assist.org and plan out the courses...
