New Student Orientation in Late August - Am I screwed?

So I registered for orientation today and the earliest session available was August 19. I’ve heard that certain classes are reserved for each session, but not to rely on that assumption because earlier sessions are unofficially “prioritized”. Is that true? I was admitted to pre-psychology and I know that I’ll need certain classes to be admitted to the official major. Will I be behind because of this?

Why do you believe ucla would lie about this?

Oh, I had no idea that official information from UCLA was available. Sorry!
But thank you for answering my question.

@mikemac some classes are first come, first serve though. not all of them are placed in a equal hold system.
