New Student Session Questions

<p>I am a transfer student and this will be my first semester at Purdue. I have recently noticed that there is a sci90900(Sci new student session) class this Sunday only for no credit. I really do not want to attend this class, mostly because I did not read the book assigned for the summer(Work & School this summer left very little time). What happens at this event? Has anyone here skipped these courses? What will happen if I do skip them?</p>

<p>It’s probably the intro class so you know other students in your major. Since it is the day before your first day of “real classes”, I remember attending one of these as well. If you don’t want to go then don’t go but if I recall correctly you can meet other students in your major which is always a plus.</p>
