The UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA'S No. 1-ranked men's tennis team now has a top-notch home for its indoor season with the $7.5 million expansion of the Boar's Head Sports Club. Doubling the number of courts at the resort's facility to a dozen, the Cavaliers christen the new Virginia Indoor Tennis Stadium tonight in a 6:30 match against Virginia Commonwealth, the No. 33-ranked team in the country. While there is a buzz in the air about the UVa team's No. 1 national status, the Charlottesville tennis community is equally excited about the improved facility. "This really does enhance our facility and what we have to offer our members and the community," said Pat Simpson, director of Boar's Head Sports Club. "We run some very important community programs here through Boyd Tinsley's foundation. It's a win-win situation for everybody."
