I am a junior looking to get accepted to Caltech. I have straight As in the hardest classes my school offers. I know that to get into Caltech you have to have above 2200 on the SAT and show that you have a passion for science (which I do). I come from a very small school that does not offer many science courses and I do not have time to take community college courses due to commitments to extra curricular activities. I also have not done outside research, which is what many high school students do to get accepted into Caltech. I was wondering as to how good the chances of me getting into Caltech are.

Caltech: Reach

Perhaps GA Tech or UIUC would be backup plans…

You need to post WGPA and SAT score…

Weighted GPA: 4.76
Unweighted GPA: 3.92
SAT: 2060 (800 in Math) my goal is 2200 after studying over the summer

I know Caltech is kind of a reach for me, but I really like it and its research programs.
Also what kind of things can I do over the summer to look more applicable to colleges?
