<p>I agree that it is hard and nearly imposible for international students to get full financial aid from the school. The poster who mentioned Chinese students getting full aid must mean that their country or another organization is sponsoring them. I would be shocked if Hotchkiss gave out a full aid award to not one, but two people from China!</p>
<p>The other issue is this: In order to qualify for full financial aid, your income has to be very low. Even if a school gave you full aid, how would you afford the two international plane tickets necessary to attend school? I think that if you are able to afford two international plane tickets, your family income is probably too high to qualify for aid. That is why most international kids on significant aid have a sponsoring organization filling in things like airfare, covering part of the tuition, etc.</p>
<p>I think the United World Colleges are a great choice.</p>
