<p>DS got an email this morning. We are in Southern California (Orange County), he was accepted to L&S Pre-Math/Econ. He will decline because he got the Regents Scholarship at Berkeley.</p>
<p>He put his Fall grades (which were excellent, all A’s with 5 AP classes) and some things he was doing this fall (clubs he joined etc…).</p>
<p>Thank you! L&S Spanish major but I’m not so sure about that specific major anymore. Also I’m in SoCal.</p>
<p>Oh and I wrote a letter to UCLA thanking them, my Fall grades, a few more activities/awards, and a new essay about a challenge I overcame and how it affected my life.</p>

I am as well on the UCLA waitlist as a CA resident, so hearing this is very encouraging! Do you mind me asking what some of your stats are? (GPA/SAT/anything else especially exciting?)
