New UCSD students room assignment is online BUT...

<p>Hey buddies, </p>

<p>it is SYNCHRO again with a fantastic news: fall room assignments have been made. I logged into the housing thing a minute ago and my earlier status was that I do not have a housing contract on file with UCSD, which is acceptable because they hadn't updated the system yet until today. Today my status changed to "You need to check with your College Residence Life Office for your room assignment!"</p>

<p>Go check your thingees guys and let me know if I am the only one with this or I have buddies sharing my status. I know that the assignments are not available until end of august but a try won't hurt. The link is given below, go to the bottom of the site and log in:</p>

<p>which means that we have been allotted rooms now but UCSD is being secretive about it, come on ERC tell me my room, my roommate and my res hall.</p>

<p>I got screwed on second year housing and I’m going to have to live with first-years AGAIN! Just gotta wait till this housing info comes out…</p>

<p>SDTriton don’t worry, I’ll be a second year and I will be living in the Res Halls again also.</p>

<p>I’m going to cry if I get a triple. I signed up the day it came out, so I better get at least a double!</p>

<p>triples really aren’t that bad. If you get the right kind of people, you’ll have a great time. I’d take a triple with two great roommates over a double with a bad roommate anyday</p>

<p>@SayWhat? – if your college has doubles and you signed up on the first day you SHOULD be good. I got a double and I signed up on the second day.</p>

<p>I emailed them today in hope that I’d find out my room assignment but that’s shot down until late August. :(</p>

<p>yes. my old suitemate often locked him self out so he let himself in by pushing the screen out</p>

<p>@oldmanbiker- Yes. since there is no AC in the dorms, the windows provide nice breezes.</p>

<p>do you guys remember when ucsd posted its decision? cuz on the housing application it says i turned it in on 03/14/09. Was that the first day of ucsd decisions? i don’t remember.</p>

I turned it in the same hour of admissions on the 14th, Hi five.
