Hi,
I was wondering what might happen if someone creates another account because that person spelt his name wrong on the first account.

Do the scores get erased? Would this be like.. getting a SECOND chance?

Thanks!! :)

do you mean on collegeboard.com?

yeah if u make a new account on college board

you can just ask them to change the spelling of your name.

what about making a new account? Do u get caught?

come on guys.. what if u make a new account and u have a different name on each account?

do u get caught?

Seriously, are you so ashamed of your current test record that you're attempting to "game" the system by creating a new account?

You get any number of "second" chances -- just sign up for the test again.

You'll get caught and it'll be SO funny.

An acquaintance of mine took the SAT like 7 times and he had multiple accounts. He's now at Caltech.

omg...that's brilliant :(

omg and u'd think 7 times... ud get caught lol

Who'd want to take the SAT 7 times? Even for Caltech.

I was thinking about that.
If you don't like the scores for the tests you've taken, can you just get a new account and start like nothing ever happened?

it's not like your scores are recorded on your collegeboard.com username. they're under your real name, real address, real identity. it doesn't seem like changing your username would simply erase your scores.

The username for logging into the site has nothing to do with how scores are matched to student records. At least one of the stories above is phony.
