New vs. Old TOEFL

i'm a junior and concerned about whether to take the new one in july

or the current one right now. can anybody tell me?

which one do colleges require?

take whatevr is more convenient for you

The new one will start in July? Bah, I guess I should sign-up for the old one now.

hmmm...do colleges have any preferences?

no they dont ( if both pbt and CBT in your area are offered then take the CBT)

I doubt that you have more than one option in an particular area.

Nomad, ETS came up with a brand-new TOEFL

which includes reading, writing, grammar, AND speaking.

While CBT and PBT did not include speaking section, this one does.

Is it possible to take the Toefl in the summer vacation(July-August)?

yes, just register online and you can pick the day and month of your choice (provided they are all not booked, already)

As I know, the new Toefl starts in September 2005. And I'm quite sure about this. Check in on the ets website.

If I want to send my TOEFL score to a college/university, does the ETS sends only one score or all tests I took (like SAT)??
