answered your pm, i got it today, marshall school btw.applied early december

So if you can log on to that Enrollment Commitment page, that mean's you're in for sure? My daughter hasn't received any envelopes (except she did get the 'no scholarship' letter a couple of weeks ago) but she can log on to the Enrollment Commitment page and the Explore USC page - and was thrilled to discover that she could. But we weren't sure if anyone with a USC username and ID # can do that, so she's trying not to get her hopes up in case it's just a glitch.

the online commitment page doesn't mean anything. i received my acceptance on january 27th and i still can't log in.

Im so worried about being rejected. I just imagine people smiling opening their acceptance packages and i'm just sat on my bed staring at a rejection letter. :(

did anyone get anything today or is the first wave of march over?

jamiedp i know how you feel :[

All the rejected people in socal can rebel against admissions!

We can run and make noise and wave sticks of fire outside the offices!

Raaaaa!

Anyway...

nothing here today except acceptance from CSU Long Beach...no offense CSULB, but that wasn't exactly what we were hoping to find in the mail today!
(((sigh)))
well at least we will hear from Santa Cruz this week and maybe a few other UCs (tries to sound enthused)

nothing today from USC

Nor-Cal, accepted 3/07.. please give an update as to when we can log-on to Explore USC!

I got accepted around the same time as you, shebrina...you should be able to log on I think

Thanks, Bluebeard. Wow - there are so many people who have already received acceptance letters but are saying they can't log in to the Explore USC page or the Enrollment Commitment page. Now, since my daughter is able to log on (to both of those pages) and it welcomes her by name as being accepted but she hasn't received an acceptance letter she's saying (with a wry smile) "so what if it's a glitch and they've accidentally programmed it so that all the rejected applicants CAN log on but the accepted apps can't?" It will be terrific if she does get the big fat envelope eventually.... Congrats to all of you that already have received one!!

more wave reports might start tomorrow. I'm just guessing here but I hope I am right and this thread will get active again. good luck everyone!

I got my package last Wednesday. Applied for film, but they are still reviewing my app. At least I'm in USC, but I hope more than anything that I get in the film school - it's been my dream for a long time. From Kansas City.

nothin in norcal. o the tension

I found out I got accepted to USC on Saturday. My mom left me a voice mail that she received my acceptance letter 'cus I was on a spring trip with my school orchestra...in SoCal lol so I was like jumping up and down during Backdraft inside Universal Studio haha anyways...

To those who still haven't gotten accepted...I think you don't have to worry about anything until April seriously 'cus my stats are not that great

SAT: 2070 W:670 CR:690 M: 710
GPA: 4.4something
Essay: Kinda risky...I did a time-framed essay (some of my friends really liked it, some got really confused including my teacher...but I was like w/e and sent it anyways), so I guess it made it unique? haha
Extra: Wow...I seriously didn't have any except for like maybe clubs and volunteering and really lame academic awards

so yea...you guys really don't have to worry about it >.< as you can tell my resume is not quite uber lol

Oh and I'm a Chem major with a Pre-pharm emphasis =) so if any of y'all are doing that then yea...hope it helps ^^

a 4.4 is really high...

^^^ I don't know...I'm ranked 17 at my school (probably dropping this semester lol...). My friend is the valedictorian and she has like a 4.6...4.7? =\ Oh yea, this is weighted by the way, my unweighted GPA is a 3.7...i dunno if that's high haha...
