Apparently there’s some controversy involving UHart’s finances and athletics:

The Hartford Courant just published this more detailed article suggesting UHart is in greater financial distress than the school is admitting:

And now this analysis in the CT Mirror of the serious decline of UHart’s enrollment and lack of leadership by the current president. The writer is someone with years of higher education senior administrative experience:

In your first post on CC, you said that you used to be an employee at U Hartford. In your second post, you posted that you were considering the school for your daughter, and listed all the reasons against going there. Every single post you’ve ever made on CC has been exclusively focused in a negative way on U Hartford, and has discouraged anyone from enrolling there. I don’t think that there is any other poster on CC who has waged such a vendetta against any one particular school, to the exclusion of any other aspect of the college search.

In what capacity were you employed there? Under what circumstances did you leave your employment there? You are so single-minded and persistent in your negative campaign against U Hartford, that one would think they must have done something terrible to you, to warrant such an effort to discourage anyone from enrolling there. It’s almost as if you’re waging a one-man campaign to destroy the school.
