New Years Resolution.

2006 is coming baby!! What are your New Years Resolution?

My average has been between a 84 - 87 since freshmen year. My resolution to to have at least a 92 average -- which is possible now, since I've find a way to combat that ever looming procrastination =)

I don't believe in "New Year's" Resolutions...

I just resolve as I go along.

New Year's resolutions are always born out of idealism; reality usually sets in after a week, and it all fizzles out until the next year, leaving the maker of the resolution depressed for a while. It is better to have a set of tentative plans than one major concrete (but not urgent) goal. (On the contrary, if the resolution is a necessity-like weighing 500 lbs. and needing to take off about 350 to prevent a heart attack, or needing to stop a drug addiction because you are near death-then one needs a concrete goal that one needs to stick to.)

No more drinking soda and no more swearing sp?. I started the day after Christmas.

I don't do New Years resolutions. I would never keep them and don't really see the point.

Although I would like to hit 1000 posts.

mattd1688, what is sp? And scarletleavy, you jsut need 7 more posts to hit that 1000 mark.

Hah. After this one 4 left. I thought I would get it earlier this week, but of course my internet had to break.

suave, how do you combat procrastination? it's eating my life away lol

sp is spelling because all I can remember is that I could never spell that word right and so I dont know if i did there either.

i never follow them but i like making them..

to get a body like karolina kurkova (model)

become dux (valedictorian)-- very unlikely haha

go hard on ECs

to stop slacking (i did this last year .. 05)

get into JHU

get MVP for soccer

I agree with a couple of the above posters, New Year's Resolutions don't really work out. But, having said that, if I had to make one it would be the following: stop being timid when it comes to starting a relationship.

-Go to bed before 11 on weeknights
-Eat all 3 meals
-Gain 10 pounds
-Run x number of miles this year (still haven't decided)
-Do better in cc and track

oh and remember to eat your black eyed pea soup tomarrow!!!!

1.Get into Princeton
2. same as number 1

I just tend to lump everything into one, big general resolution. This year:
Be greater than what you already are.
