Columbia and Cooper Union are elite
NYU right under that
I’m sure there is a ton of other great colleges I’m forgetting and I’m sorry but I’m a Floridian
There’s also Barnard (women only), Fordham, the New School, St. John’s, Pace, and the CUNY system in addition to the various specialized colleges like Juilliard and the Pratt Institute.
Sarah Lawrence is ~30 min from NYC by train.
