@Indiangurl (12P12)/8
And it was 0

@Saswizy For the horror movie question you were suppose to round every value to the nearest hundredth right? I I calculated the probability for each one (0,1,2) and rounded the result to 2 decimal places and then added them all up to get .37 as well.

Why was it that for the trigonometry one? I thought it was a factorial??

And why wasn’t the range question 1.27?

@Magnate27 well, I personally rounded each of the probabilities to like 6 decimal places and then added them up, but that’s just me. It said to round to the nearest hundredth and if you got .37 I’m sure that’s fine!

@Saswizy and for the inequality extended response did you double check the answers with a number line?

@Indiangurl it was a factorial but 12! Is the same as 12P12. If you were to do it by factorials you would have gotten 12!/(2!2!2!) but that wasn’t an answer. Therefore, you had to realize that the 2!2!2! Is 8 and 12! Is 12P12.

And the range is the lowest y values to the highest y values. The graph started at 1.27 but it dipped a little before going up

@Magnate27 yes, every number worked except for numbers between -1 and 4

I also wrote the answer in the same format that you had it but I also wrote it as {x|-1>X<4} (something like that) but I circled (-infinite, -1) U (4, infinite) which was my original answer.

i put the multiple choice answers in my calculator and got

@Magnate27 I think you should be fine then!

142332311243244323112332344

@Saswizy ok then. thanks for the help.

:D

@Magnate27 no problemo!

@saswizy personally, although a very important math skill, i do not believe geometry truely measures ones math skills/talent. i did get a 98, but i was only talking about algebra 1 + 2. hopefully, i get a 5 on ap stats nec=xt year tho. thats where my eyes are on!

@saswizy I’m still very confused. If it started at 1.27, even though it dipped it technically started at .97?

And what was te one with the negative radicals?

@indiangurl All range means is from LOWEST y value to highest y value. thus, @saswizy is correct on that one!

@mathislife - None of these tests measure mathematical ability, not even the AMC. It only really measures your ability to “master the test” and the types of problems imo. Real math requires actual thinking, not 30 second problems that are evaluated as correct or incorrect based on a bubble. Don’t get discouraged if you didn’t do well on this test. :)

@Indiangurl - Are you talking about the MC question?
