New York Times article

<p>I thought some of the board members would find this article of interest: <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2007/01/07/education/edlife/07prepared.html?_r=1&ref=edlife&oref=slogin%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.nytimes.com/2007/01/07/education/edlife/07prepared.html?_r=1&ref=edlife&oref=slogin&lt;/a> . It is from the "Education Life" supplement in tomorrow's Sunday Times. You need to register first; it is free.</p>

<p>Very interesting article.</p>

?If you ask me, ?Is it like the honors curriculum at M.I.T.?? we?re probably real close,? says Dr. Sachs, who notes that he had the most students ever, 35, enrolled this past semester. The number is particularly impressive because students gain entry to the course by completing a full year of advanced math after A.P. calculus. ?The courses I teach are actually a second year beyond A.P.,? he says.

<p>Yes, quite interesting. I just read the first few pages, but I found it more interesting and well done that the thing that was on the College Admissions board "The Swarm of Super-Applicants".</p>
