<p>Hello all! I am currently a student at Stony Brook University. I am planning to transfer to NYU or Columbia. I am wondering if i have the credentials to make it. I came to Stony Brook out of high school with a 3.2 GPA and a low SAT score of 1140. Once at Stony Brook University i maintained a 3.5 GPA and am currently a junior even though i am only in my second year of college (i went through a wall street summer program which bumped up my credits). I participate in 9 different clubs/organizations on campus including 3 honor societies, i work for the dean of students and am a double major (economics and business management) i am applying to NYU and Columbia as a transfer. Do you think i could get in? Or should i not even try? I am transferring because i have an intense interest in the economics field and at my current college economics is not a strong major. Thank you!</p>
