New Yorker applying to UT

what are my chances (from New York city, out of state of course) of being accepted into the undeclared liberal arts major if I have 1170 on SAT (not including new writing section, which they say doesnt count for now) and a 3.0 GPA? I have 2 kick ass recomendations (including one from an actual UT studio art professor) and very strong essays and a uniquely impressive resume. Your thoughts will be greatly appreciated!

low... very low with that gpa. the SAT doesnt make up for anything either.

i'm sorry but there is no way you will get in - it's already tough enough for in-staters.

Also, I have not mentioned that i will have received 60 college credits and the Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree from Bard College in additon to my high school diploma, since I go to a weird school called Bard High School Early College that has first two years of regular high school credit and then 2nd 2 years are college credit courses. However i applied to UT as a freshman, not as a transfer student

I agree with kcirsch- it's a long shot, esp. since you're OOS. UT's spots are already filled up enough because of the top 10% rule and given their very number stats driven reputation, you have a very low chance.
